NextGen Announce Brazilian Partnership!
NextGen USA and the famous Brazilian Professional Club, Vasco da Gama, have announced a ground-breaking partnership that will provide exciting new developmental opportunities for talented young American players.

Tony Williams, NextGen's Director of Youth Development, "This partnership with Vasco da Gama will provide great development opportunities for players and coaches for clubs supporting NextGen across the country. If we are to develop World Class players they need to play against World Class Opposition. To experience the passion and quality of Brazilian youth soccer environment will be an excellent learning opportunity for promising young American players that will inspire future success on and off the field."

The International Affiliate Agreement will provide
  • NextGen players with opportunities to travel to Brazil for international Development Experiences.

  • U.S. College opportunities for players released by Vasco da Gama's Academy to go to USA and continue their playing careers with support from NextGen.

  • Coaches from NextGen and its Developmental Affiliates will be able to travel to Vasco da Gama's Academy for professional development experiences

  • Vasco da Game Academy Coaches will participate in NextGen International Development Festivals

Alvaro Miranda, Vasco da Gama Director, said, "We are excited about our partnership with NextGen USA. We recognize there is a tremendous depth of talent young players across U.S. and we hope that Vasco da Gama's experience in professional youth development can help provide opportunities that will help accelerate the development of both players and coaches within the NextGen network. We will be sending our coaches over to U.S. to support the development of players and coaches. We very much look forward to welcoming NextGen players to Vasco da Game."
