Nick's Flying High!
Helicoper Load
We were called in to load this helicopter in need of repair. The rotor blades were removed for travel and Tommy lifted it with our rotator to place onto a detatch trailer. Our days are never the same and we wouldn't it have any other way!

We went right from the winter that seemed it would never end to the summer heat. Spring once again was no where to be found. We've been prepping our trucks so we are ready when the thermometer hits those high notes. We would be happy to get you ready too! Ryan and his team at our Wallington truck shop are ready, willing and able to service or repair your rigs. Our diesel mechanics will check hoses & belts, perform A/C service and most importantly check tire pressure to prep your fleet for the summer heat.

Speaking of tires, they are the focus of this year's International Roadcheck June 7-9th. We've highlighted some important information so you can be ready. That being said, if you have a truck put out of service just give us a call. We will have mechanics and wreckers on standby should you need us.

Sincerely,
Nick

International Roadcheck 2016: June 7-9

Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's (CVSA) 29th annual International Roadcheck will be held from June 7-9 throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. This is the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial motor vehicles in the world, with nearly 17 trucks or buses inspected, on average, every minute across North America during a 72-hour period. More than 10,000 CVSA enforcement officials will be conducting Level I inspections across North America, with a special focus on tire safety: measuring tire tread depth; checking tire pressure; checking to make sure that no items are logged between dual tires; and, examining overall condition of the tire and sidewalls.

A "Ruff" day at NTS!

Tails were wagging when we recently had the K-9 units from the Bergen County Sherrif's Department, Fort Lee Police Department, Readington Township Police Department, Warren Township Police Department, Highland Police Department and the Bound Brook Police Department converge here at Nick's for some specialized training in sniffing out drugs. The German Shepherds and their police officer human partners were amazing! We always enjoy helping out law enforcement in any way we can.

Tremendous Tank Trouble
This huge tank was in the process being transported to the Johnny Walker plant when it came through the dunnage used to load and secure it on the lowboy trailer. Tommy was dispatched to lift it up while they removed and replaced the pieces so that it could be properly re-secured. Once this was accomplished Tom set the tank back down and they were back off on their way. Great job Tommy!
