Nk'Mip Cellars Named Top 10 Winery for Fourth Consecutive Year
First Nations Winemaker, Justin Hall, Instrumental in Winery's Multiple Awards at 2015 InterVin International Awards

Osoyoos, B.C. - North America's First Aboriginal owned and operated winery, Nk'Mip Cellars , has once again placed in the Top 10 Wineries of the Year category for the fourth consecutive year at the InterVin International Wine Awards competition. Ranking 6th overall, Nk'Mip also brought home double gold awards for their top-scoring wines.
 
" The InterVin International Wine Awards recognize the best wines available to Canadian consumers and Nk'Mip Cellars is the only winery to consistently place in the Top 10 for the past four years they have entered the competition," says Christopher Waters, Head Judge , InterVin International Wine Awards and Editor, VINES Magazine. " It shows impressive consistency across Nk'Mip Cellars' portfolio that is worthy of celebrating."

The InterVin International Wine Awards 2015 top-scoring wines and Wineries of the Year finalists will be featured in a special InterVin Awards issue of VINES Magazine and in the National Post Weekend Post in September and all winners will be posted at  intervin.ca   in November.

Through InterVin's international scope and diligent evaluation process, an entirely objective, blind tasting format has been developed that utilizes a team of qualified and respected judges. The panel features wine industry professionals with backgrounds in hospitality, media, education and winemaking. Competing wines are grouped by varietal or style ensuring that each is fairly evaluated. Judges award gold, silver and bronze medals in each category as well as determine the prestigious top awards for the overall best wines.
