No Failure In God! 4/7/17
Luke 16:15 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
HIGHLY ESTEEMED?
As I read these Words spoken by our Lord and Savior this past week, the Phrase:
"
FOR THAT WHICH IS HIGHLY ESTEEMED AMONG MEN IS ABOMINATION IN THE SIGHT OF GOD!!!"
Imagine this:
Revelation 21:21 (KJV)
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
"
AND THE STREET OF THE CITY WAS PURE GOLD!!!"
Our God uses GOLD to pave the streets!!!
Imagine this:
Psalm 116:15 (KJV)
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
It is pretty apparent that God sees things MUCH differently than us MERE humans!!!
Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
God even rejoices when we run out of "OUR" strength!
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The ONLY way to RECEIVE "the Kingdom of God" is "AS a little child!!"
Luke 18:17 (KJV)
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
A "little child" simply asks in FAITH, BELIEVING they CAN have what they ask for and/or need!!
A "little child" TRUSTS in the one asked and defers to their judgment and goodness.
Matthew 7:9-11 (KJV)
9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
I counted dollars while God counted crosses,
I counted gains while He counted losses,
I counted my worth by the things gained in store
But He sized me up by the scars that I bore.
I coveted honors and sought for degrees,
He wept as He counted the hours on my knees;
I never knew until one day by the grave

Oftentimes, our biggest defeats and worst losses are God's method to take us to higher ground.

What "seems" to be a SET BACK is merely God handing you a STEP UP!!!
I can NOW look back on my life and note the MANY times I "thought" I had FAILED God or that God had failed me, and can only NOW understand the TRUTH OF:
THERE IS NO FAILURE IN GOD!!!!!
