Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord! Welcome to the month of August! What a Joy it is to be alive & to witness the 8th month of the year! We remain so grateful to God for His Mercies & His Kindness in bringing us into the new month! I Pray The Lord will Preserve & Bless all your efforts this month & the rest of this year! In today's edition of our E-Newsletter, I'd like to share about our Citizenship in Heaven & how that requires our one hundred percent Loyalty, Allegiance & Obedience. There's a sense in which we could say (as Believers in Christ) that we have Dual Citizenship - both of our Heavenly Home & of our earthly nationality or country of Citizenship - since we still live here on earth. However, there's another sense in which we are Not to hold onto our earthly Citizenship or hold a Dual Citizenship, but rather should hold unto or identify Only with our Heavenly Citizenship - as Believers in Christ - & that shall be the aspect of our consideration here!

Citizenship, as we know, is the state of being vested with the Rights, Privileges & Duties of a Citizen. Possession of Citizenship is normally associated with the Right to work & live in a country. Primarily, modern sense of Citizenship is usually based on one or more of these factors: First, if the Parents (any or both parents) are Citizens of a given country, then the person may be a Citizen as well! Even if the person was born outside of the physical territory of a country, once the parent(s) are Citizens, then the child is a Citizen as well! Second, if the person was Born within a country or within its territory, then they're presumed to be Citizens of that country. Third, Marriage to a Citizen - If a person is marrying a Citizen of a country, then eventually he/she gets to become a Citizen of that country too. Finally, by Naturalization - Citizenship can be granted to a person who immigrated to that country & have resided there for a given number of years. Sometimes aspiring citizens may have to swear allegiance to their new country & may also have to renounce their prior Citizenship.

When Apostle Paul declared in Philippians: 3: 20 that our Citizenship is in Heaven - I believe that Heavenly Citizenship met every basis of Citizenship as we know it down here in the nations of the world. First, we are Citizens of Heaven because our Heavenly Father is the King there! God is our Heavenly Father because He had Adopted us into Sonship through His Son Jesus Christ, & we were Born into His Kingdom by His Spirit. When we are Re-Born by the Spirit of God, (although we were born outside the 'physical' territory of Heaven) yet we were Born into the Kingdom of God - by His Spirit & God becomes our Heavenly Father, making us Citizens of Heaven! 

By being Born of The Spirit into the Heavenly Kingdom of God, that means we were Born within the territory of the Heavenly Kingdom - spiritually speaking, thus making us Citizens of Heaven! Again, not only are we Born into the Heavenly Kingdom; as the Church & Body of Christ, we are the Bride of Christ & someday He'll Come to take Us, His Bride to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb! So by virtue of being Married to the Head of the Church & King of the Heavenly Kingdom, we also Earn our Heavenly Citizenship! Finally, once we get translated (its like saying we immigrated) from the Kingdom of Darkness into the Kingdom of Light, we become & are conferred Citizenship of our Heavenly Kingdom of Light! Hence by every standard & basis, we are & we become Citizens of Heaven! (To Be Contd) ...

May you fully represent Heaven here on Earth as a Citizen of Heaven & may every circumstance of this life bow to your Heavenly authority as you exercise your Rights & Privileges as a Citizen of Heaven - in Jesus Name!
