Meet Eric Russell

Eric is an install crew leader who's been with us at Fulford for about 5 years now.  He's a reliable, dependable worker who works close with Rick St. George whom we introduced you to in our previous newsletter. He's an avid fisherman with a big heart for his family. You can constantly find him hanging out with his nephew, parents or siblings. Eric is originally from Delaware, where he also worked as an HVAC technician. He's a great team player and aims to please our customers. If you see Eric, make sure to say "Hello". Thanks Eric, for everything you do!

"Treat" (your home) for Fall.

Did you know? :For every degree you turn back the thermostat (during the heating months) for eight hours a day, you save about 1-2 percent in heating costs.
Try this:
  • Recommend setting of a thermostat is to 68 degrees during the heating months (when the home is occupied), and 75-78 degrees during the cooling months. Use energy-saving settings when you're not home or are asleep.
  • Install a Programmable Thermost
  • Always make sure your system is in good condition, getting regular maintenance, which can prevent breakdowns and failures.
  •  Check the air filter at least twice a month but we recommend every 30 days. Use ceiling fans in occupied rooms during the heating months to help circulate airflow. The ceiling fans should pull air up toward the ceiling during the heating months.
  •  Make sure the venting is clear of obstructions such as bird nests. Continue to keep an eye on the venting system for obstructions, such as ice and snow accumulation, all heating season long.
  • If your HVAC system has needed repairs in recent years, and is more than 10 years old, you should consider upgrading to a high-efficiency unit. The energy savings are immediate, and the return on investment helps pay for the replacement costs in a reasonable number of years.
