New Hampshire First Lady Valerie Sununu is looking to bring together high school students from across the Granite State to participate in the Bridges House Sustainability Youth Council in partnership with
Project Green Schools
. We write in the hopes that you will nominate at least one or two students from your school to be a part of this new council.
We will ask participants to come together at
-- the Governor's residence and "People's House" of NH located in East Concord--for two meetings.

EXPO & Recognition Day:
- Bridges House Sustainability EXPO on Saturday, May 19, 2018
Attendance is strongly encouraged to attend both meetings and the EXPO & Recognition Day
where Governor Sununu will recognize Youth Council students.
At these meetings, students will share ideas, concerns and suggestions about what New Hampshire can do to promote sustainability within our state as well as at the Bridges House itself. We want to pass along their feedback to local, state and national leaders who will listen carefully and hopefully take action. The Bridges House Sustainability Youth Council will also play a key role in planning and participating in the Bridges House Sustainability EXPO on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Please let us know the names and contact information of highly motivated and
deeply committed students by February 16, 2018
by completing our
We will then invite students directly to participate in meetings and related events.
We encourage all participants to
bring their own water bottle as the Bridges House has a refillable water station.
Note: There will be opportunities for teachers/faculty to connect through this effort as well. Stay tuned.
The Bridges House Sustainability Youth Council is a great way to connect like-minded green student leaders across New Hampshire.
Thank you, and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year,
