Nominations Being Accepted for the 2013 Glendora Citizen of the Year
Glendora organizations and citizens have until Friday, January 24th to submit their nomination for Glendora's 2013 Citizen of the Year. Nomination forms are available at the Glendora Chamber of Commerce, located at 224 N. Glendora Avenue or may be downloaded below.
Completed nomination packets must be delivered to the Chamber office by Friday, January 24th at 5:00 p.m. No nominations will be accepted after the deadline.
Selection criteria includes the following:
- Lasting contributions to the community welfare and betterment;
- Participation in community, civic, and governmental enterprises;
- Demonstrated leadership attributes;
- Spirit of cooperation with individuals and organizations.
Glendora service clubs and non-profit support organizations comprise the board of the Citizen of the Year committee and elect the recipient(s). This year's recipient(s) will be selected on Thursday, February 6th.
The 2013 Glendora Citizen of the Year banquet honoring this years' recipient(s) will be held on Thursday, April 24th at the Glendora Country Club.
