EEW MAGAZINE'S "2011 BEST BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD"

best book
Popular authors Marshawn Evans (Skirts In the Boardroom) and Dr. Deana Murphy (Designing for the King) both share a distinguished honor that contributed a great deal to the success of their books.

These two respected writers, entrepreneurs, and media personalities received their first prestigious book award from EEW Magazine, the #1 online magazine for African American Christian women.

EEW Magazine's "Best Book of the Year Award" is a special program for first-time authors. The only one of its kind, this award helps launch writers into the national spotlight by having their new book endorsed by the nation's leading web publication for Christian women of faith and color.

Major Christian publishers like Thomas Nelson, Zondervan,  Moody, Whitaker House,  Random House, and many more, trust EEW as a partner in book promotion. Through our "Best Book of the Year Award" the Empowering Everyday Women team is able to extend the same five-star treatment to new authors who may or may not be backed by major publishers.

Who Can Be Considered?
EEW Magazine's special awards program is open to first-time African American Christian women writers of all genres

-- whether self-published or signed to a publishing deal. We are simply seeking high-quality work, published within the last 9-12 months for consideration.
