Words from the Executive Director
To God be the Glory, Great things He has done. Our national celebration of Thanksgiving gives way to the "most wonderful time of the year." One of the best parts of this season for us as Christians is the spotlight on the babe in a manger--Jesus the Christ!

Christmas musicals, plays and extra services provide us as Christians the ability to boldly proclaim this most wonderful news. Our world needs it! We need it. The power of the Gospel changes lives and continues to give us power to proclaim.

Jimmy Stewart, in the Christmas classic "It's a Wonderful Life," displays the deception and defeat of a good life eclipsed by depression and suicidal thoughts. The hymn, "I will serve Thee," reminds us of the great interception of our Christmas Hope and Humanity's Hurt.

"Heart aches, broken pieces, ruined
lives are why You died on Calvary.
Your touch was what I longed
for; you have given life to me.

I will serve Thee, because I
love Thee; You have given
life to me. I was nothing
before You found me; You
have given life to me."

The beauty and blessing is we get to "Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and everywhere; that Jesus Christ is born." People near and far need to hear the Good News.

Across the nation, God is moving! His Gospel is changing lives. I have seen, personally, response to the Good News as a simple prayer opens the door to a Gospel conversation. The Association just hosted a Gospel conversation Training and saw immediate results from people sharing a simple Gospel .

Will you take the Gospel Challenge and let December be a record year of:
  • Invites to church services or special events.
  • Gospel Conversations

The World needs us to be messengers and light. Please pray and fast for Noonday Baptist Association. We have some great days ahead as we follow God's leading for new teams and staff. We want God's people to serve His church and impact lostness in our neighborhoods and nation.

I hope you will be a part of the Retirement Reception for David Suddath, who has served with us for 18 1/2 years and Sue Atwell, who has served with us for 22 1/2 years. God has used them in more ways than we will ever know. We are thankful for their service. I plan to see you on Tuesday, December 5, between 1:00-3:00 p.m. for their reception.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and an opportunity to see new life this season as you share Jesus.

Yours in a Common Cause,

Daryl Price

Disciples that are truly following Christ make Him known to a world that needs to know Him. Unfortunately, as Christian educators, we sometimes treat discipleship and evangelism as two separate functions. At the REDEFINE conference, you will be challenged to equip your church to make an impact in the world with the gospel through discipleship.
Our calling, as a disciple, and as a disciple maker, is to continually REDEFINE everything we do with Jesus and His Great Commission as our standard-engaging in discipleship that leads to evangelism that leads to discipleship.
Breakout sessions will equip those involved with the discipleship ministry of your church, including children & student ministry leaders! Make plans to get 2018 started by joining us at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA for this important conference and bring your key leaders with you!

It has been a very busy month here at Storehouse Ministries. We have packed over 500 boxes for the holiday and regular pickup. I am so thankful for the volunteers who come every week to serve at Storehouse. I know that one of the most important things you can give is your time! The people who come in, give their time willingly. So, I am dedicating this article to them!

Click HERE for a list of our volunteers.

They are the glue that holds Storehouse Ministries together. If they did not give freely of their time, we would not be able to do all we do for the community! I am blessed to have such a wonderful group of people who I can call my friends! I am encouraged by them and all they do.
