Renowned Polish artist Stefan Norblin began work for the Indian princely houses of Gujarat and Patna in 1941. Court painter to Maharajah Umaid Singh of Jodhpur, he created unique and stunning art deco murals, furniture and interiors at Umaid Bhawan palace. The largest single collection of this unique Polish artist is now in India. This film by Margaret Skilba, a Pole living in India, explores Polish restoration efforts and Norblin's life and work in Poland, India, and the United States.
