Contemporary, Hispanic and Traditional Worship services October 15 at 11:00am

 From Trustees: REMINDER!
When on the Church property, please be aware of your surroundings, lock your car, and avoid leaving items inside your vehicle in clear view. If you see anything or anyone suspicious, please notify a member of Trustees or someone at the Greeter Desk on Sunday.  Be safe!

Our Stewardship Journey continues through the month of October.  Where is this journey taking you? Be sure to incorporate frequent prayer "rest stops" along the way.  By praying along your Journey, you will be better prepared to arrive at the destination that God desires for you.  As in the Parable of the Talents, plan to be the faithful servant and receive both the extra blessing AND the joy!
Be sure to check out this week's Conversation Question Set in preparation for your prayer "rest stops."

  • Join us for weekly prayer Sundays, 8:45AM in the Library. We will pray for the worship services and Growth Groups.
  • Prayer email notifies church members of sympathy and urgent/immediate prayer requests from people within our church. Email requests/concerns to: prayers@nfumc.org
  • Weekly Prayer Group meets Tuesdays at 7PM in the Sanctuary Prayer Room
Stephen Ministry
Sometimes we just need someone to listen. Stephen Ministers are lay members of the congregation who have received over 50 hours of training in how to listen empathetically, non-judgmentally, and
most important, lovingly with the heart of Christ. We all go through so many changes and situations in our lifetime: retirement, involuntary job loss, death of a family member, diagnosis of a serious illness, depression. And often during those times we don't need or want someone telling us what to do, but to
hear us as we talk about how these situations have affected us, wounded us, changed us, or even provided new opportunities. If you feel that you could use a friend to care and to listen, to encourage, and pray with you and for you (at your request), please know that we are available for you. For more information, contact  Rev. Brenda Westmoreland -  bwestmoreland2583@att.net  or Murlene Dubay at  770-449-1478 .
