Worship July 8 at 11am
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:3-11 NRSV
What Motivates You?

Important information about worship on July 15th and 22nd....
I have always been told that when unfortunate and beyond our control things happen I should look for the opportunities to make something good come from it. That's not always easy but I have found that when God is involved it always works out. We have that opportunity coming up here at NFUMC. Because of roof and ceiling repairs needed in our main sanctuary we will not be able to worship in there for two Sundays. It's unfortunate. It's beyond our control. But we can still have the opportunity to do something positive with this. We will still worship on July 15th and 22nd - just in different places.
On the 15th we will have two worship services in our old chapel for you to choose from so you have an option. There will be an 8:30am worship service in English (with a Hispanic translator if needed) and an 11am worship service mostly in Spanish (with an English translator available). So you can come to early church, stay for Sunday school, and then have the rest of your day to spend with family or whatever. Or, you can have your "regular" Sunday morning schedule of Sunday school and then 11am worship - just in a different location.
On the 22nd we will have worship in the FLC at 11am and our Hispanic family will worship in the chapel at 11 as well. We will not let some construction - much needed and long over do construction - keep us from worshiping and praising the Lord. So plan on being here and being part of what God will be doing through our amazing worship teams as we continue to praise our God together.
Remember, God loves you and so do I.

Midweek Connection

Summer Midweek Classes

Steadfast Love by Lauren Chandler
led by Katrina Daughtry and Janet Turk
Room 210/212 - 7 week study, 7-9pm
There are times when worship overflows effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. And there are times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing to offer. We are tired, thirsty, and caught in the waves of a tumultuous sea. But this is when God shows us His steadfast love.
Psalm 107 is a call to worship. It reminds us that each season of life is an opportunity to reveal the anchor of our souls. In this study, learn to face each season of life with courage and trust in Jesus, and discover how tests in our journeys of faith reveal the true condition of our hearts. For there is no fear for the one who fears the Lord, the one whose soul is anchored in His steadfast love.
Cost of Book- $12.99.
The Wesley Class Meeting
 led by John Hammer
Room 202- On going, 7-8pm
John Wesley's original small groups focused on a single question: how is your walk with God?  During the century when these groups flourished, Methodism grew from 3% to 33% of Christians in the US, one of the largest
revivals in history.  We began the first adult small group at NFUMC in Fall 2017.  Eight members meet weekly on Wednesday evenings to discuss our weekly walk.  As our time together continues, we are experiencing a growing trust in the difference a true walk with God makes and how being supported by loving Christians leads to a more Christ-filled, intentional life.

Contact Sandra Hunter with any questions.
Nursery available birth-Age 4.
Young Adults

Open to anyone who has graduated High School through 28 years. The group meets Sundays in Room 202 at 12:30 pm. Please contact Sandra Hunter for more details.
