8, Sacramento, California, NMRA National Model Train Show - North
American Railcar Corporation is pleased to announce our next major
tooling project, the 100 Ton, 4000 cu ft Canadian Rotary Gondola. This model is a highly accurate representation of the Canadian National car design originally developed in the early 1970's.
These
cars have gone on to serve a number of Class I railroads and
independent companies, with many remaining in service today. In
addition to Canadian National, Canadian Pacific and CSX operate these
cars. And companies like Sultran and Herzog also operate these cars.
The
models are highly detailed with many individually applied details. Available in both HO & N Scale, they will feature a large variety of schemes representing
the different owners of the cars from the introduction in the 1970's to
present day. Multiple road numbers of all schemes will be available. North American Railcar anticipates delivery of the first runs
of these cars in March of 2012.
We are pleased to be able to bring you this fine new model exclusively available through Pacific Western Rail Systems. The listings for these cars are up and we are taking reservations for them immediately.
There will be more announcements from manufacturers at the NMRA National Train Show to follow, including another North American Railcar release tomorrow.
