A Word from the Staff

As you know, Sunday afternoon at 5:00pm I will begin leading a 3 week series on " 12 Essentials for a Disciple of Jesus". I believe the lessons will be beneficial and I hope that you will attend.
Following each of those discipleship classes we will also begin a special 3 week emphasis during our 6:00pm worship hour. The focus during the services will be on some of the men and women in our congregation who have committed themselves to being a disciple of the Lord. Each of those 3 evening services (April 15th, 22nd, 29th) members will be leading in prayer, reading their favorite Bible passages, and sharing from their hearts with solos and testimonies.
I am proud of the members of North Highlands. We have some truly dedicated followers of the Lord. I eagerly look forward to hearing from several of them in the services. The first person to share their story is going to be Luke Virvescu. What was it like growing up in Romania? How did he come to know the Lord? What brought him to America? What brought him to North Highlands? Come Sunday night and you will find out.
