Bringing The Title Home!

Congratulations to Battalion Chief John Maydak, Lieutenant Dan Tyk and Heavy Equipment Operator Jason Katz who were able to bring the Best Pizza Title back home to the fire department this year as part of the California Pizza Kitchen Pizza Cook-Off. The annual cook-off features a competition between the Glendale Police Department and the North Shore Fire Department. Thank you to Aaron Ross from California Pizza Kitchen for graciously hosting this event. All funds raised from the event go to community public safety needs.
Weekly Summary

  • An apartment fire in the 4800 Block of N. Mohawk caused approximately $50,000 damage on April 24. One occupant received minor injuries as a result of the fire.
  • The Department assisted the Cedarburg Fire Department at a structure fire on April 19.
  • Firefighter/Paramedic recruits entered their second full week of the six week training program.
