Weekly Update
Busy 4th of July for NSFR Crews

North Shore Firefighter/Paramedics were kept busy with their normal 20 plus calls for service during their 4th of July Shift, but also participated in six community celebrations and parades.

Firefighters at Station 82 in Glendale participate in the first "Glendale Summer Soak" by raising the aerial ladder on Truck 82 and sending a stream of water down on the kids (and kids at heart) in attendance at the 4th of July Celebration (picture to left) to keep them cool.

Six fireworks displays were held in the evening that crews strategically deployed to provide specific protection and coverage to both the spectators and display coordinators.
