Weekly Summary

  • Station 85 Green Shift stopped at a youngster's 3rd birthday party this past Saturday afternoon and the parents sent a nice thank you and pictures (left).
  • The Fire Commission approved the hiring of five new firefighters effective April 11.
  • The Board of Directors met March 13 at River Hills Village Hall. The Board approved updated Job Descriptions for all positions and Rules and Regulations. The Finance Committee met prior to the Board Meeting to hear a report on the Department's investment positions from it's investment firm. 
  • The Department hosted an open house for neighbors of Fire Station 84 in Whitefish Bay on Tuesday March 13. This open house allowed neighbors to see exterior design plans for the upcoming station remodel. The exterior plans will be considered by the Whitefish Bay Architectural Review Committee.
