Our process is dedicated to uncovering what is distinct and ownable about a community with in-depth research as its guide. For our research manager, this means steering the research process from start to finish. Problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork and, above all, intense curiosity are musts for being successful in this position. No two communities are the same, and each provides a unique set of challenges - a new puzzle to solve. And we should know: North Star has over 250 community brands in 48 states to its credit.
 
In addition to managing the research process for current clients, the Research Manager is responsible for communicating with past and potential clients to attract new research studies for North Star. Additional compensation for new business attraction as well as opportunities for advancement are available in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
Data Analysis: Conduct and analyze a wide variety of research – including online surveys, interviews and focus groups, demographic and psychographic data
 
Presentation and Report Creation: Prepare each client’s research into detailed and informative presentations and reports
 
Research Management: Act as the primary liaison between North Star and all third-party research vendors. Ensure that all BrandPrint research is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with schedules for project completion
 
Other responsibilities: Participate in company-wide meetings for brand strategy and brand communication development, participation in and coordinate in-market trips, manage individual client accounts, manage the student internship program
 
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Two to three years’ experience with opportunity for growth
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent research and analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Proficient in Google Drive Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Energetic and passionate individual with a desire to learn and have fun!
