Personalized Paper
Not Just Scrap can personalize White Cardstock for you. We have 1 word, 2 word and 3 word options with many colors to choose from. The possibilities are endless. Here are some ideas on what to have printed: Your child's name, the names of two people getting engaged or married, a person's birthday( ex: John's 50th.), the names of twins, a place you visited(ex: Paris France), etc.

We also have multi line diagonal formats.  As an example on one format you can have the Bride & Groom's name and on another line print the Wedding Date or Baby's Name on one line the Date & Time of Birth and Weight & Length on additional lines.  There are two designs that are great for Schools. Yeah!  Our air conditioning is working once again. 

Kids Papercraft Summer Camp! We are currently working out the details for our Kids (girls) Papercraft Summer Camp.  Registration will be limited to 6 girls per session.  Each child must be at least 10 years of age.  Each session will be held for a total of 4 days, two hours each day.  All the details will follow in a separate email.  If you are interested please let us know so we get a feel for how many sessions we might need to schedule.  We are currently thinking of scheduling 2 sessions per day.  A morning session from 10-12pm and an afternoon session from 2-4 pm.

 

*** Don't forget to visit us on Saturday June 18 for our first 'Garage Sale'.   Sale hours are from 10am - 4pm.   


Our Designer Tracy will be one of the vendors at the garage sale.  I can't wait to see what she will be selling.  Her stash is unbelievable!!!

We have 2 tables left for our 'Garage Sale' on Saturday, June 18. If you are thinking  about cleaning out your craft rooms to earn some extra NJS dollars for NEW items, then call now to register for a table.   

 

Details for Registration: $15.00 fee for a table rental. One table per person. Each participant must price their own items clearly including a unique number issued to them at time of registration. Any craft items may be sold.  No limit on number of items you can have in the sale.  All earnings from the sale will be converted to a Not Just Scrap Gift Card.

Quick Quotes KOM
We will now be offering Quick Quotes Kits of the Month starting in June (that's a mouthful).   Here is how it works.  Each month we will have a sample in the store of the following months kit.  The kit will either contain  two 2 page layouts(4 pages total) or an altered art project, such as; mini books, canvas projects, wall hanging home decor kits.

You have to sign up for the class or,  if you want to, just purchase the kit by the 12th of the month prior to the kit arriving.  If you sign up for the class (Limit 10) there will be prizes too.

Bring a friend to a class and you each will receive a $5.00 credit which you can deduct from your class fee or use toward products. You and your friend will also get a 25% discount on anything you purchase when you are at the class with your friend!

(In the case of the class extending over a period of time the credit and discount are only valid on the first class in the series. Not valid on workshops from outside vendors)

Customer Referral Program
For each new customer you send our way we will issue you a $5.00 store credit. All you have to do is make sure they write your name down on the "new customer form" they fill out at the store with their first purchase. They have to be a new customer who is not in our system currently and spend at least $25.00 on product for you to qualify for the $5.00 credit. They will also get a 5% discount on their first order if it is at least $25.00.

Not Just Scrap Points Since our doors opened almost 5 years ago, Not Just Scrap, has had a point system in place. Here is how it works: 
  • For every dollar you spend on products at Not Just Scrap you get 1 point.   
  • When you reach 250 points you get $25 credit towards your next purchase.  You can hold on to the $25 for something special or use part of it. 
  • When we run a Double or Triple Point Day you will get 2 or 3 points per dollar you spend.   
  • Your points will expire if you have not made a purchase for 1 year.    
  • The computer keeps track of your points and prints them at the bottom of your invoices.  
  • You don't have to worry about a card that gets punched.  On the other systems your card gets punched if you reach that circle amount. Example: On other systems if you buy $7 dollars worth or merchandise you only get a $5 circle punched or nothing if you only have $10 or $20 circles left.
  • We give you 1 point for every dollar. We don't punch circles for every 5 or 10 or 20 dollars you spend.  If you spend $7 dollars you get 7 points.

Summer Fun.  June 26, 1-3pm.  $27

 

Join Jeanette as she shows you how to create a fun 2-page layout using your favorite summer photos. You'll need to bring four to six 4 x 6 photos with you. If you don't have the photos yet, don't worry. The pages can be completed just fine without them. You will also need your basic class kit, a pencil, a good eraser, and a journaling pen. Beginners are welcome, but you should have some experience using a paper trimmer.

 

 

 

Rita.  Advanced Copic Class. June 28, 6-8pm. $24.

 

Advanced Class. Join Yvonne as she shows you how to create this Southern Bell Cat using stamps and Copic Markers. You must bring your Copic Markers with you. Yvonne used the following colors. Feel free to use any colors you choose.

 

 

Beginners. June 29. 7-9pm $15.

 

Bring a couple of photos to this class and we will help you pick out papers and create a beautiful one page layout. The main focus of this class is how to mix pattern papers. You will also learn how to use the basic scrapbooking tools and adhesives.    

 

Doorway. July 12 & 28, 6-8pm. $22.

Have you ever wondered why certain colors go so well together, or why your eye is drawn to a particular page or design? In this class, you will learn some of the building blocks of design, including color theory, balance, and the basic elements of a scrapbook page. You will also create a 1-page layout, so please bring three 4 x 6 landscape photos with you. This is a beginner class, but more advanced scrapbookers are also welcome.
