PCC in the News:
3M Event photo
Sponsored by a North Carolina Community College System grant, PCC's Minority Male Mentoring (3M) program aids students in building a stronger community through study groups, social programming, and professional development opportunities.

Sylvester Thorpe, Jr., a member of 2016-17 cohort, stressed the impact of participating in the events stating, "I thoroughly enjoyed the program because I think it has helped get the young men back on track. Often times, young men don't make the best decisions and this program has provided an opportunity to stay focused and achieve their goals." Click here to read the full story!

High School Students Get Advice
from Local Industry Leader

Students in PCC's Summer Institute heard from Woody Jacobs of Duke Energy Progress. "You are on a journey. Think about where you you want to go. Think about how you are going to get there. Think about the resources that are available to help you get there and take advantage of what this college offers to you," he shared.  See video from Mr. Jacobs' presentation by clicking here!
