January 2018
Happy New Year!
As most of you know, 2017 has been a very hard and challenging year – I’ve never been more happy to turn the page on a year. With any new year comes new beginnings, for example:

1) New Series - We begin a five-week series on the book of Revelation – The Great Ending , as we finish out The Storyline series.

2) New Service - Starting this weekend, our Saturday evening service moves into the Chapel, which we believe will provide more opportunities to build community. The Café will also be open.

3) New Groups - Join a group! Meet life group leaders at Group Up after all services on January 13/14. For more information and to sign up, head online .

4) Student Ministry - We are excited to hear how God is going to use this weekend's Districts Conference in Green Bay to impact the 180 students (middle and high school) who will be attending. Please pray that lives will be transformed for Christ.

5) New Commitments – As we begin 2018, it’s a great time to reflect and seek God’s direction in growing to be more like Jesus. Think through how you’re going to go deeper into God’s Word and prayer. Think through two or three people God has placed in your life who are far from God that you can pray for, serve and move toward. Finally, think through how you can serve God and others this coming year.

For the past two years, we’ve challenged each other to take ownership of our spiritual growth through the Rooted Initiatives. I would love to hear how your growth plan(s) has made a difference in your life. Hit reply so that we can celebrate together.
PS We had a strong month of giving with over 574 “families” participating and $430,000 received, helping us make up our deficit and allowing us to start the new year in good stead. Just so you know, January is typically a low month of giving, so thanks for your faithful generosity to God’s work in and through Door Creek Church as we begin another year.
Thanks for inviting your friends and families!
We had over 3,000 people attend Christmas services at both campuses.
