Clover Caring Caring
Tomorrow is our last day to collect Clover Caring Cards! Thanks for those families who have already donated to the new program!

Historically, Clover Ridge has supported local families this time of year by sponsoring "Caring Connections", a toy drive for families during the holiday season.  Rather than a toy drive, this year we plan to support families in need by sponsoring "Clover Caring Cards" - a program designed to help families with some basic necessities.

Beginning November 6th, we will be collecting gift cards to support our families at CRE.  We would like to have this service project to provide joy for both those who give and receive.  In line with our month of gratitude, our gift card collection will run from Nov.6 to Nov.17.  Distribution of gift cards will take place November 20th and 21st. Gift card ideas include restaurants, gasoline, grocery, or clothing. (Target, Walmart, Super America, Cub Foods, etc). Hopefully, by providing some assistance to families for the basic essentials, families can prioritize and have extra during the holiday season.

Families needing assistance are asked to contact Mrs. Oldenkamp, School Counselor at 556.6912 or

Thank you in advance for your support of families in need! #ECCSGratitude

The TAP program makes public transit more affordable for low-income residents in eastern Carver County.

This point of our star stands for better teaching
One of our pillars for personalized learning is Purposeful Instruction, Assessment and Feedback. Teaching is the core service we provide and we spend a lot of time getting it just right. Teaching is a lot like learning -- everyone learns differently, and each teacher has his/her own style of teaching. But there are fundamentals of purposeful instruction that we maintain as a district. One is active learning -- humans were not built to passively receive information. We learn best when we are curious, when we can apply a concept in a hands-on way and when we can solve problems to improve our lives. Another is continuous progress: a student's age should not determine when learning starts and ends. Learning is a continuum where a 9-year-old student might be ready content that is traditionally taught in 5th grade, and so we adjust accordingly.
