Seeking Parent Representative for MDTAP Advisory Council
The Maryland Technology Assistance Program (MDTAP) is seeking a Parent Representative to join its Advisory Council. We're currently seeking parents of children (youth or adult) who use assistive technology. Knowledge and understanding of local, statewide and national issues surrounding AT access is preferred. Specific expertise in assistive technology is not required, but interest in assistive technology and consumer advocacy is a must. The Advisory Council meets three times a year. The purpose of the council is to provide consumer-responsive, consumer-driven advice to the State for, planning of, implementation of, and evaluation of MDTAP's activities. The members of the council volunteer their time.
If you are interested in being considered for a spot on the MDTAP Advisory Council, please contact Lori Markland at 800-832-4827 or by email at lmarkland@mdtap.org.
