November Greetings to our Library Users -- we are thankful for your patronage!
Coffee is now available for purchase for $1.50 per cup and the proceeds go to the Friends of the Library; we have Green Mountain, Celestial tea varieties, and hot cocoa. As the weather gets colder, you will want to grab a cup and know that you are supporting your library! Check it out near Big Bird and our glass display.
A big thank you goes out to...
TheWatauga Library Endowment for funding children's books, a laptop charging cart, a ceiling mounted projector for our meeting room and children's furniture!
BSG Events Inc.for non-fiction children's books to be utilized in Kindergarten classrooms during the school year in the Appalachian Regional Library's service areas, Watauga, Wilkes and Ashe counties; in the summer the books will go to the public libraries in the three counties, beefing up collections during the time when libraries have summer reading programs.
Church of the Holy Cross / Valle Country Fair for children's books for our Reading & Rolling program.
