Room for the Baby: A story, craft and tea party for people of all ages!

Sunday, December 2, 2 - 4 p.m. at Home Ec. Workshop

Join us in celebration of a crafty new picture book by Michelle Edwards; illustrated by Jana Christy.

Share your love of Home Ec. with your friends and kids of all ages! Bring everyone down to hear Michelle read aloud Room for the Baby, her delightful new story about a Jewish family that reuses and re-makes many cast-off items in order to make room for the arrival of a new baby! Lots of stitching and knitting are involved in this story- and as we all know- crafting can be contagious! Please bring an oddball sock or two and we will help you make your own cast-offs into adorable stuffed toys! The workshop and additional materials are free with the purchase of the book! No prior sewing experience is necessary. Tea and cookies will be provided.

Reserve in advance your own copy of Room for the Baby or A Knitter's Home Companion at Home Ec. Workshop. Michelle will sign books purchased at this event!

We hope to see you there!

Please note: Without purchase of the book, there will be a materials/instruction fee to participate in the workshop portion of this event.
