November 2016
Highlights & Updates

At this month's meeting, members ranked and prioritized the Partnership's strategies and initiatives. In groups, members "made the case" for why the strategy is important to Stratford and should be sustained.
This is the first step in gaining ground for our Sustainability Plan.
'85' Reveals Most Teens Don't Smoke Weed
Youth Committee launched their
"Do you ride with the 85?" campaign on November 7.

After creating plenty of "buzz" around town and school, using signs, posters, magnets, and cups, they revealed what the 85 meant on November 21.

Youth Committee revealed that 85% of Stratford teens reported not using marijuana in the past 30 days based on Stratford's recent 2016 Search Institute Survey.

Youth Committee members chalked the sidewalk and cupped fences to promote the campaign prior to the reveal.
Youth Committee thanks Town and school officials for the support and help to spread this message to Stratford.
