In this season of shortening daylight and cooler temperatures, we find ourselves seeking ways to warm our bodies and souls. Soup pots become more prevalent on stoves, and fireplaces are lit to bring a sense of coziness to these longer nights. Many have offered prayers for their deceased loved ones on "Dia de los Muertos," and many will gather around a table later this month to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
Here at TSC we continue to welcome all sorts of folks into our midst; from women clergy who have come for a week to 'Rest and Rekindle,' to weavers and others engaged in creative pursuits. Regardless of the reason, we hope that those who come onto our campus will be able to find a little space in their hearts to remember those who have supported them on their journey, and give thanks for the blessings they have received.
Thanks for our blessings
Many who have visited TSC have remarked on the fine quality of our kitchen staff. We are happy to welcome a new member into our midst,
Cecil Williams. Cecil comes to us as an experienced cook, and has 'wowed' our guests with his cooking prowess. He has already provided wonderful new additions to our dishes.
Additional use of the facility has taxed our hard-working housekeeping team,
so our housekeeping staff has been expanded to include
Codi Jackson
. Codi is the mother of a beautiful 2 year old little girl, and looks forward to a better family - work balance in her life.
When you see Cecil and Codi, we hope you will make yourself known to them.
