Message From the President
As we consider the accomplishments of the last year, the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce gathered for our 103th Annual Meeting on October 26th to celebrate individual and collective achievements in our community and review the accomplishments of our organization.
Our annual Outstanding Citizenship Award was presented to Lenny Clouse, President of Clouse Construction.
The award goes to a community member who exhibits success in their profession, volunteerism and community service, and personal qualities including high ethical and moral standards.
Our annual Women’s Career Excellence Award was awarded to Jill Gosche, online editor of the Advertiser-Tribune.
The award was given to a woman who provides valuable service by devoting time to improve the quality of life for others; demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in her profession; and assists women in reaching their leadership potential.
Congratulations to our 2017 Award winners!
Small Business Saturday
American Express launched Small Business Saturday in 2010 to encourage individuals nationwide to support small local businesses. Last year, 95 million people went out to shop at small businesses.
Small Business Saturday is most successful in helping local retail businesses grow their revenues over this key weekend, when public/private coalitions of small business leaders have come together to provide coordination and leadership.
This year’s event is celebrated on Saturday, November 25. For more information and to sign up for promotional materials,  visit here!
If you have not already ordered your Small Business Saturday marketing materials, please do so. We have a limited amount of supplies here at the chamber office. You may stop in to pick some up.
