We are just 3 DAYS away from the relaunch of AIDS Walk Long Beach. Please join us in support of our community for a beautiful walk along the beach.  We  will kick off at 8am at Bixby Park and finish at The Long Beach Museum of Art. All proceeds from AIDS Walk Long Beach benefit Long Beach organizations serving members within our local community.

Since its founding, AIDS Walk Long Beach has raised millions of dollars to support those most vulnerable and most in need served by Long Beach-based organizations. Funds raised support critical prevention services including free condoms, HIV and STI testing, food pantry support, case management,PrEp and PEP counseling, medication support, and social and support groups in multiple languages.

Monday, November 6, 6-10pm
 
Join our 20 Somethings Social & Support group for a night of table top fantasy! The Copper Koopa has created a custom and unique campaign for our local 20 Somethings LGBTQ+ community. Experienced players and first-timers are welcome to join, and game-play will be capped at 18 people. 
Doors will close at 6:30pm and no phones will be allowed during play. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Center

Join us for an exclusive book reading and signing with author, Marcy M. Madden. Marcy's side of the story explores the day her husband came out to her as transgender.  

In her brutally honest account, Marcy discusses her emotional journey where the only handrail is that gold standard love that she had forged over decades with her Scottie.

Enjoy a masquerade celebration, complete with a champagne welcome and delectable small plates on the Harbor Terrance Rooftop. AIDS Food Store will be honoring:  Byron K Bush, The Silver Fox, Christine Robbins, and Regina Cash
 
A special announcement about the AFS volunteer of the year. Live auction. Tickets on sale now at $55 for individuals or $100 for couple.
 
Monday, November 20,  6:30-8pm

Councilwoman Lena Gonzalez , for the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR). Join us as we stand in solidarity and honor the resiliency of our trans community.  This year's event will feature a reading of names of those lost over the last year as well as a candlelight vigil.

Supportive Parenting Group
This group is designed to provide peer support for parents and caregivers of LGBTQ-identified individuals. Group sessions are led by a Mental Health facilitator from the LGBTQ Center. Groups are offered in both Spanish and English.
