CAPITAL CAMPAIGN Generations of Generosity

There is an inspirational quote that states, "The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit." The founding members and previous generations of Maple Grove families certainly understood this and sacrificed to ensure that their beloved church would continue to stand at the corner of Henderson and High. Our Generations of Generosity campaign offers us an opportunity to be thankful for these faithful servants and to celebrate our gifts for the generations yet to come.

The Generations of Generosity campaign focuses on three priorities for our church: improve safety, repair and maintain infrastructure, and meet current needs and expectations. To accomplish this work, benchmarks have been established:

First Step Benchmark: $400,000. We are pleased that we have commitments in hand at this level already!

Challenge Benchmark: $750,000. Commitments at this level will allow us to complete the most important improvement projects that have been identified by the Trustees.

Celebration Benchmark: $950,000. Commitments at this level will allow us to accomplish additional projects that will further improve our church building and rebuild principal for future needs.

In November, several key campaign activities will occur. Please join us in supporting Maple Grove now and for future families and children that will worship and serve here.
November 6, Commitment Sunday - Bring your Every Member in Ministry and your Generations of Generosity Capital Campaign commitment cards to worship and offer your gifts of prayer, presence, service, witness, and financial commitments for the operating budget and the capital campaign.
November 20, First Fruits Offering - Bring your first gift for the Generations of Generosity Capital Campaign. These gifts will be used to start some of the highest priority projects.

Thank you for your generous gifts of time and talents and for "planting the trees" for our children and our children's children. With your help, Maple Grove will grow into the future and continue to be an open community of Christians who love God and serve our neighbors.

In the Emmaus community, each participant's individual gifts and servant-leadership skills are developed for use in the local church and its mission and participants are encouraged to find ways to live out their individual call to discipleship in their home, church, and community.
