Alana Miller is a first year teacher with FALA teaching AP World History, World History, Human Geography and 8th grade liberal studies. Ms. Miller has lived and travelled abroad extensively, which has furthered her interest in history and contributes to her educational goals and style. She has a B.S. from NAU in History and a Masters in History from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Her research focused on medical practices of the lower classes in the High Medieval period of Anglo-Saxon England, with an emphasis on social and gender studies. Alana holds her AZ teaching certificate in Secondary Education and Structured English Immersion with endorsements in History and Geography.
