planWhat's covered in your service plan?
Having a current service plan in place means you have access to professional, timely help when you need it.

We've also found that our customers who have service plans tend to contact us with questions about how to use the software or ask us how the software can help them create the kinds of reports and functionality they need.

It's a good idea to know specifically what your service plan includes and what is considered custom work.

updateImportant Wintix updates
Here are a few important updates you should know about. To update your Wintix, go to Help | About Wintix and click on "Download update." If you need help, contact [email protected] or call 831-920-1254.
  • When completing a sale, Wintix checks the number of tickets selected on the chart against the number of tickets in the sale. If the two aren't equal, the sale will not complete.
  • When a sale is cancelled, the customer ID is set to 0 so there is no sales record in the receipts.
  • When adding another record to a sale, Wintix figures the amount owed before opening the window to add the record.
dianeSocial, mobile, marketing, and more at Arts Reach Conference
Diane and Bruce attended this year's Art Reach Conference in San Francisco and spent two days in intensive workshops. With advances in technology, the box office isn't just about selling tickets anymore and the conference focused on trends and strategies for capitalizing on social media, mobile apps, digital marketing and more.

Here are a few key highlights you might find valuable. Enjoy!

Meet you at the Forum!

If you click on the link above to read about the Arts Reach Conference, you'll notice the article has been posted on a page on our website that is a virtual secret.

Like the Forum of old, our Forum is a place to meet up and exchange ideas. And like the Roman one, ours is a bit crumbly from disuse. We'd like to invite you to bring this bulletin board back to vitality. Post some comments or questions about the article and let's talk!

saleEasy way to access a patron's sales records
Did you know it's really easy to access sales history and records directly from a patron's contact information?

Pull up your patron's information by going to Mailing list | Customer lookup. Click on the "Notes" tab, then on the "History" button.

  • Notice the number that is under the "Sale" column. That is the Wintix sale number. Double click on it.
Voila! The Wintix sales record appears showing exactly who purchased the ticket, when it was purchased, etc.
