Wow! What a great finish to the year - you certainly missed out if you weren't at the #1 Netball tournament in the USA - the CallidusCloud U.S. Open Netball America Championships!! Read about it here.

The highlight of the weekend certainly was the announcement (live from Belgium) of the 2016 World University Netball Championship being awarded to us right here in the USA. Great work by the Netball America team and supporters across the globe who had been working on this bid round the clock since January. Stay tuned........

It was amazing to have 240 people attend our 5 year celebratory dinner on Saturday November 9th in Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you to our special guests the Honorable Margaret Giannini (Formerly of the White House) and US Olympian & Former NFL Chicago Bear - Bob Pickens.

It was also an honor to have the Championships an official speaking event approved by the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition. Our youth who graduated from this program during the year were presented with their signed President Obama certificates by Dr. Jayne Greenberg, President's Council Member.

It was important for us to showcase the youth during the event so thank you to Pink Panthers, Mabry Middle School, Gems Juniors, Crusaders ATL Juniors, CANA U/23 and Grizzlies U/18.

2ND WORLD UNIVERSITY NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Congratulations to Netball America and all its Board, Advisory, Management Committees and Members for winning the bid to host the 2016 World University Netball Championship right here in the USA!!

The announcement was made live from Belgium and was telecast during our CallidusCloud U.S. Open Championships VIP dinner.

USAs #1 Premier Netball Championships

Wow - what an event - with 22 teams leading the line up over a 3 day world class event. Included not only top USA athletes, but athletes from Australia, Bahamas, Canada, England and Sri Lanka.

Such a great support team at McEachern High School - thanks to our 50 volunteers, athletes and officials for making this event a huge success. A special mention to the following amazing people: Coach Jimmy Dorsey, Coach Dan Torrenti, Paula MacWilliam, Roslyn Day, Steven Anderson, Sarah Wampler, Josh Eisenberg, Nigel Parker, Michele Hammock, Kym Rodger, Aletta Godden, Jayne Quick, Krishnie Naidoo, Chapa Galappatthi, Mabry Middle School, Roz Trollip, Rona Star, Jo Monaghan, Mitzie Batchan, Simon Williams, Rhea Button, Randene Webber, Dei Zuk, Christina Campbell, Ilze Gideons, Tanya Shuker, the Atlanta Junior Teams, all umpires, officials and international visitors. Also, we want to highlight Gems Netball Club who were there to help load the gear into the school, help monitor volunteers and stayed late Sunday to ensure all equipment was packed away.

70,000 Rugby Fans are descending upon Las Vegas January 24th to 26th, 2014. Once again Netball America is supporting this event so we will be out there promoting and recruiting Netball players. We will also have an high profile international player and coach who will be joining us. So let us know if you can participate.

This is also a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure for your Company via onsite promotion or advertising in the official IRB program. If you are interested in placing an ad or being a food, beverage or promotional vendor - let us know.
