November News from the Birmingham Museum

The Birmingham Museum invites you to share a story about a special person from Birmingham's last 200 years. This person can be anyone from the present or the past - a friend or family member, an ancestor, a neighbor, or someone you remember growing up that made an impression on you. We are more interested in the story and why it is important to you than exact facts. Did you know actor Tim Allen (pictured at right) went to Seaholm High School? We want to learn about his and many other stories from Birmingham!

We will create exhibit panels featuring submitted entries and will display them in our museum and online during 2018-Birmingham's 200th year. Submit your information at http://www.bhamgov.org/PeopleofBirmingham2018Exhibit.

The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday, 1 PM to 4 PM   and located at 556 W. Maple Rd. Parking is available in the Chester St. structure on the south side of Maple. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and seniors, children 5 and under are free. Please visit us on the web at www.bhamgov.org/museum or www.facebook.com/TheBirminghamMuseum.
