by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Many thanks to all who participated in the Family Service Project
The family service project was kicked off Saturday morning with the sun shining and a great group of Arma Dei families and teachers, ready to get dirty. We set out to landscape the front of Lumberg Elementary in Jefferson County. The morning was filled with hard work which included removing old shrubs, painting and redecorating bathrooms, planting and mulching and building benches to spruce up the entire front of the school.

We appreciate all the involvement from our great community of families, students and teachers. The staff (and mayor) from Lumberg were grateful to see our group, young and old, working diligently to help their school.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible.

As a reminder, for the safety of the students and others around you, please do not talk on your cell phone as you pull in front of the school. If you need to finish your call before picking up your child, a faculty member will happily guide you to the side. Thank you for making the car line a safe zone for all.

With the installation of the new playground expansion currently underway, the academy board continues to pray and investigate the next steps in developing the 6.5 acre campus.

Recognizing the academy's growth and development, the Arma Dei Academy board continues to conduct a search for a permanent Head of School. The opportunity profile has been sent out; the position posted on several classical Christian school websites and the search committee has received applications. Next steps include video interviews and on-site visits with applicants. Please continue to pray for wisdom and discernment on these important next steps.

Did you know the average American consumes 3.4 pounds of candy over Halloween? Stop the madness!!! Let the Arma Dei Community Connections team help. We are collecting any leftover Halloween candy to be used in marketing promotions throughout the year. A box is located in the front office to rid your household of this unwanted sugar while helping our school at the same time.

The field is expected to be complete by November 15, 2016 and the playground complete in January 2016 as equipment is ordered and installed.
