Biotech partnership means students
can start at SSCC, live at Wilmington College

Southern State Community College and Wilmington College have partnered to increase access and affordability to a four-year college education by establishing a 2+2 pathway option for students interested in biotechnology. Students can spend two years taking courses at SSCC's North Campus in Wilmington, then seamlessly transfer into a bachelor's degree program at WC -- now with the opportunity to reside on WC's campus all four years. Rick Williams, Festival of the Bells Committee president, announced the 2018 festival will be sponsored by Southern State Community College and hosted on SSCC's Central Campus in Hillsboro.

Auditions on Dec. 1 for
"Love, Loss, & What I Wore"
SSCC Theatre Company will hold Dec. 1 auditions for an all-female cast of "Love, Loss, & What I Wore," a play of monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes, and memories. The play will be performed Feb. 17 in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium.
Ohio Valley Hoops Classic
returning to Southern State
Come on out to the Ohio Valley Hoops Classic on Dec. 1 and 2 to see some of the top teams and players that Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky have to offer. This year's event returns to Southern State's Patriot Center on Central Campus in Hillsboro.
