Salsa for the Foodbank -
Recap
Last Saturday, October 23, BYWR,
Sources Community Resource Centers, and 'The Sweat Sisters'
presented 'Salsa for the Foodbank', an initiative of the 360
Yogathon presented by ScotiaBank. The event, part fundraiser, part
celebration of BYWR's three year anniversary, was a sold-out
success! Thank you for all donations and to everyone who came out
and danced with us, it was an anniversary party to be

"April's hot stone treatment was one
of the most relaxing massages I've ever had. I started the session
by soaking my feet in salts and warm water while drinking
therapeutic tea and listening to music that made me want to close
my eyes and sink into my chair. Her combination of hot stones and
amazing scents (customized especially for me) was such a unique
experience. I left feeling totally refreshed and the headache that
I had during the day was gone. I highly recommend all of April's
treatments. No matter what is going on in my day, her healing hands
take away all of my stress." - Jen Hanover.

New Lines on
the Studio Floor
We've installed new lines on the floor
in the hot room for organizational purposes. There are three lines
to indicate three rows. Please arrange yourself so the black line
is in THE MIDDLE of your mat, and when you set up, always be sure
that you're not directly in front of any other
students.

Where's the Shoe
Rack??
You've probably
noticed we're adjusting our 'shoe situation'. Effective
immediately, please do not leave your shoes on the staircase
landing. Please remove your shoes and carry them upstairs to the
change room, do not wear them upstairs. This is temporary, as we
are working on a new solution.
Thank
you for understanding.
Also, please
remember to respect the studio etiquette by being quiet in the yoga
room. All points of etiquette are outlined in this link:

Student Testimonial:
Marcie Munro
"I had agreed to be
part of a Clinical Trial and was randomized to one of three
treatments where I was to self inject into my thigh for 10 days
after my treatment cycle to keep my white cell counts up. It worked
amazingly and to date, I have been a survivor for 6
years!"

Ward Off Common Cold"

and winter, also known as cold and flu season, I thought a
compilation of preventative measures would be useful. It's too late
for me, but here are a few steps you can take to drastically reduce
your chances of catching a bug..."
