From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank each and every single one of you who attended our 6th annual breast cancer event. What a fun filled memorable night! I truly hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. I encourage you provide us feedback, good and bad, if any, so that we can continue to improve in all areas of our events.

I am most proud of my team for representing our studio in the up-most professional way, knowing the importance of commitment and dedication on what it takes to make our events successful and for giving back to the Colon Family with their whole hearts.

We met our goal in both attendance and funds raised.

Now lets talk "holiday season"! My biggest challenge in these coming months is encouraging all to keep up with their classes, health, & fitness through the holidays. Everyone gets busy, yes WE do, which causes stress and unhappy people.

Continuing your weekly workout routines helps tremendously with stress relief and sound mind.

Remember, 1 hour is only 4% of your day - you deserve that 1 hour to let everything go and just focus on YOU. You will be a happier, less stressed soul! Most times you will have more energy and clear mind to tackle on the holiday season.

Most stores open early & close late - so no excuses!

Looking forward to seeing YOU in classes, having some of our "snow birds" back in town, and giving back this holiday season!

"Holiday Hotness" Challenge
 
Our popular 5 week "bootcamp" challenge will start Monday November 16th or Tuesday November 17th!

EVERYONE CAN DO THIS!
No matter of your fitness level.

Limited to 10 people.

$100 - 5 weeks.
$15 walk ins - if space is available.

Morning group will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8am.

Night group will meet on Monday nights at 7:15pm & Saturday mornings (upon commitment) at 7:30am.

We will grocery shop/meal plan on Saturdays during/after brunch for those who need that assistance.

Weekly weigh ins and goal setting a must.

Holiday tips and guidance on how NOT to gain 
the average 7-10lbs will be shared.

Sometimes we all need a "security blanket", something or someone that makes us feel comfortable and complete. For many years, I've looked forward to having our member of the month in classes; the singing, the smiling, the hooting & hollering - a great feeling as an instructor to have in classes, it's that feeling of "you're doing something right" to know people are having fun and loving classes as much as I do! Our member of the month does just that for me! We go back years before I opened the studio, at different fitness facilities. He's always been there for me, my classes, our studio, and always a huge supporter of our events & parties. Morning class can not start until we hug, and he never leaves without another hug and saying "thank you for another fabulous class"!

How long have you been a member of ZT's studio? And/or Teri's classes?
Since it opened, but I started following Teri when she was teaching Zumba at fitness centers in Stuart and Jensen Beach in 2008. I fell in love with Zumba and especially Teri. When she decided to open her own studio I think I was one of the first to join her in her new adventure. I am still happy to be a part of her amazing family.

Do you take Zumba, weight training classes, bootcamp, or 2 or 3 of those and which ones?
I take Zumba at all the morning classes.  I also workout five days a week at Martin Memorial Health and Fitness in Palm City.
 
What is your favorite part about coming to the studio?
This may sound trite but I find it to be great for my Mind, Body, and Soul. I found something that starts my day with a smile, a great workout and many new and wonderful friends.  As I have told Teri many times, she personally, and Zumba have added at least 10 years to my life. Being a Back Row Badass also has its advantages to say the least.
 
Do you have a favorite rhythm that you love dancing to in classes?
I like all Latin rhythms, but if I had to choose, Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue would top my favorites list.

What are your health or fitness goals, if any?
Stay young at heart, stay as healthy as possible, and enjoy the best quality of life that I can.
