The Shootout Challenge

The Shootout Foundation has challenged the PHC Mallards teams to raise money for the Foundation, which supports both youth and sled hockey initiatives here in Austin, TX. The team who raises the most money earns a lock in or a party at the Pond!

The Peewee B Mallards will be offering mini photo sessions at The Pond on November 21st with Molly Kendall Photography. Christmas time is near so sign up HERE!

The Peewee A team just had their fundraiser this past weekend.

A big thanks to Ceasar's Auto Detailing in Tarrytown for hosting the Peewee A fundraiser. It was a huge success. Each team is working hard to support hockey here in Austin!

Skater Of The Month

Trent Turner

Trent Turner, our skater of the month, plays in both our C and Mixed Adult Leagues. Trent got into to hockey just over a year ago when a friend asked him to sub in at a Mixed League game. This was his first time to skate!

Trent enjoys hockey because it is such a challenge for him. He now plays as both a goalie and a skater. He injured his elbow and thought playing goalie would allow him to rest his elbow a little bit. Trent loves the Pond leagues because they are fast paced with limited whistles. Trent is a physician by day and a guitarist by night. Check out his website: trentturnermusic.com!
