November is a month for weekends filled with leaf peeping and wine tasting, and we hope your travels take you to our featured Festivals of the Week and other Events that span Virginia from the mountains to the ocean.

This is also the month when the Hard Cider Revival is celebrated across the state with tasting events, workshops and other entertainment to showcase the fast growing industry. And, if you love Virginia wine and cider, it's a good bet you also love Virginia oysters.

November is Virginia Oyster Month, highlighting the state's seven oyster regions with unique flavors and immersive experiences for visitors. Numerous wineries will be offering special wine and oyster events.

As we pause to give thanks for our many blessings, we thank you for sharing our passion about Virginia wines and for your continuing interest in learning about the people, places, events and trends as they relate to wines of the commonwealth.

We wish you a happy Thanksgiving and all the best for the holiday season.

Cheers!
