Join us for Genius Unleashed, a one-of-a-kind community event celebrating Beaver and the power of philanthropy, on Wednesday, November 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Gym A. Alumnus and Improper Bostonian columnist Jonathan Soroff ‘83 is hosting this 21+ event, where guests will have a chance to connect with fellow parents, alumni, and faculty, and experience the way Beaver unlocks the potential in our students. You will also learn more about the upcoming Research + Design Center, watch as three students turn the tables and ask Peter Hutton questions, and celebrate the excitement of the largest campaign in Beaver’s history. Visit the event page for more information and to RSVP. As a reminder, Afternoon Activities are cancelled due to the event.

The following three ideas were voted the best in class. Led by a student CEO, these ideas will be pitched to a panel of venture capitalists and entrepreneurs tomorrow. Read more.
Students in Foundations of Biology class recently completed their Human Genome Identity Project, which explores the connection between genetics and human identity. After collecting an impressively large amount of data, they worked in groups to create two visual presentations of their findings – a hallway exhibit and a video. Read more about their projects on the BVR blog.
Students in both MS and US visited the Forced From Home – Doctors Without Borders Exhibit on the Long Wharf in downtown Boston. Students experienced the exhibit with a Doctors Without Borders aid worker as their guide while seeing, hearing, and interacting with images, stories, and materials gathered from refugee camps, rescue missions, and emergency medical projects around the world. Read more
