Looking to start a new business or need some help rejuvenating an existing one? The City of Novi (and it's partners from around the area) are here to help.

The City has several resources available to small business owners, starting with the new  Walk-in/Startup Small Business Counseling  at the Novi Civic Center.

This program, which is offered from 9:30-noon and 1:30-4:30pm the first Thursday of each month, provides new or potential business owners with one-on-one advice from an experienced business consultant. The next session is scheduled for December 1.

Walk-in sessions are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each session is limited to 15 minutes. Sessions take place at the Community Development Center Room, 45175 Ten Mile Road.

Another useful tool for small to medium-sized businesses is the quarterly Business Blender. The next Business Blender is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, from 5-7pm at the Novi Civic Center. More information will be available in the coming months.

Finally, there is the newly refreshed Business Assistance Team, a group made up of representatives from the City, Chamber, Oakland County Business Center, Small Business Development Center and financial institutions.
