On May 6, The United States Global Change Research Project released the Third National Climate Assessment.
The report describes the impacts of climate change across ten geographic regions of the United States, and in economic sectors such as agriculture, energy, and health. The descriptions translate scientific insights into practical information that can help decision-makers and citizens anticipate and prepare for climate-change impacts.

Dr. Yohe will present an overview and highlights of the Third National Climate Assessment. As Vice Chair of the National Climate Assessment Development and Advisory Committee (NCADAC) and a Convening Lead Author for the recent Fifth Assessment Report of IPCC Working Group II, Dr. Yohe will provide some comparison of the reports. He will also discuss their context within the President's Climate Action Plan.
