Call To Action: Extend the National Flood Insurance Program
The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) will expire on July 31 , denying necessary insurance coverage to homeowners and buyers in more than 20,000 communities nationwide. Congress must act now to reform and extend
the NFIP. You should have received a call for action email from NAR with a customized link, which is also below. Be sure to click the link and urge Congress to extend the NFIP and pass meaningful reforms to ensure long-term
viability of the program.
Congratulations, KCAR!

Voters will be asked to protect
supermajority requirement in
November
OAR-backed Initiative Petition #31, a measure strengthening Oregon’s required supermajority in order to increase state revenue, appears that it is headed to the ballot in November. With your help, over 174,000 signatures supporting the measure were turned into the Capitol.
