Office Update
The time just keeps on moving. Here in the office we have been working on several projects including the Hush Harbor for Youth Advocates, the MLK Day of Service, Sankofa Day of Reflection, and Habari Gani Retreat. We are also starting to look at planning dates for next year's calendar.

This summer will see many people come to the City of New Orleans for different activities like Archbishop Lyke Conference, the Clergy Caucus, Black Sisters Conference, Black Deacons and the Black Seminarians Association, the Congress of Deacons, the Black Catholic Women's Gathering and the Institute for Black Catholic Studies. These are all great opportunities for us to participate in the work of the Church and sharing in our faith. Soon information will be coming out about participating in these events and in helping to provide hospitality about these meetings.

Also, please remember that if you know someone who would like to signup for these emails they can call us at (504) 861-6207, email us at bcatholics@arch-no.org, or drop by the office. This is the best way to stay up to date with the happenings at the OBCM.
