Dear Members and Friends:
September was definitely the month for Chamber events - especially ribbon cuttings! We hosted
Ribbon Cuttings for
6 member businesses -
MM Esthetics, Missouri Puppy Mill Rescue, Christ Refuge Community Church, Texas Roadhouse, Innovative Vision Care and
Personal Finance Company. We also joined with
Dennis Williamson Wealth Management for an after hours event, presented a
$1,000 Grant award, appeared before City Council twice, was interviewed on the radio, spent 3 days at the
Vintage Market Days event, enjoyed our community's Fall Festival, attended the
Calvary University President's Dinner, AND we added
6 new members!!!
The Chamber's Membership Luncheon Meeting on October 11 is our popular Speed Networking which will be hosted at Stacks Youth Project. Please RSVP soon - you don't want to miss out on these great 2 minute member presentations and so much more! October is also the first ever PINKTOBERFEST consisting of a month of individual fundraisers by the 5 Chambers of the Cass County Coalition of Chambers with proceeds benefiting The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The Belton Chamber will have raffle drawings at the membership meeting and our first FORE! 4 THE CURE 18 Hole Scramble Charity Golf Tournament at River Oaks Golf Club in Grandview on October 14. You don't have to golf to support this cause - purchase a sign for the Walkway of Pink at River Oaks to honor a loved you know who has been affected by breast cancer. Belton Parks and Rec is hosting the walk-in Mobile 3D Mammography Coach on October 14 and 15. We also have pink buckets if you would like one to collect donations in your place of business to be added to the CCCC campaign. Please help us support this cause by participating in these Pinktoberfest fundraisers in Belton and throughout Cass County.

Member Announcements - this is a great way to highlight your business events through our 800 email contacts and 2,000 social media followers! There is so much happening in our community to be proud of and to support. We encourage you to share these announcements of your fellow Chamber members.
The Chamber is pleased to announce the rescheduled date for the
FREE Business Outreach class is Tuesday, October 25, 4:30 - 5:30 at the Chamber office. We are working with Google and RE-Branding 360 to put your business on the map! Businesses that have complete business information online are twice as likely to be considered reputable by consumers. Please join us - call the office to reserve your seat at the table!
