One Month Left to Act! Current ENERGY STAR is Comparable to Code

Did you know ENERGY STAR Version 12 is comparable to the Ontario Building Code package A6? For only about $150 more, you can achieve the ENERGY STAR standard on your homes.

Enroll your homes before the August 31, 2017 deadline, and have until August 31, 2019 - a full two years - to complete your build.

Enbridge & IESO Partner to Offer New Incentives 

Enbridge has partnered with IESO and the Save on Energy program to offer new incentives - helping homeowners to lower energy bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Customers can get $1,600 back for energy efficiency upgrades to renovation plans. 

Enbridge is offering two webinars, August 10 & 15, for you to learn more about the Smart Savings Program and how you can help your clients save money and energy. 

OHBA Conference, Awards of Distinction  Coming to Niagara

The annual Ontario Home Builders' Association conference is coming up September 25-27 in Niagara.

Events and sessions include "Leveraging Climate Change" (speakers include EnerQuality's Shannon Bertuzzi), "Housing Goes Modern," "Tarion Home Warranty Update," a tradeshow and the OHBA Golf Tournament.  

The conference wraps up on the 27th with the OHBA Awards of Distinction. 

BILD Home Show Division to Launch New Show in 2018

Toronto Home Shows, a division of BILD, has announced a new show starting in November 2018.

HomeFest is a festival-type event that will encourage consumers to discover what "home" really means to them, and help them make their homes a reflection of their lifestyles.

"HomeFest is a celebration of the lifestyle of living....at home" says Festival Manager Tina Holmes.
