Family physicians are acutely aware of how poverty affects health and the OCFP makes concrete efforts to ensure equity and access to comprehensive primary health. We are committed to advocating for policies that support vulnerable populations and lead to healthier outcomes.

On Dec. 18, the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the OCFP sent a letter to the Minister of Community and Social Services in support of " A Roadmap for Change", the report of the Income Security Reform Working Groups which offers a comprehensive strategy to modernize income security in Ontario.
