Donations needed: gift cards in any amount, 3 canopies (like the beach kind) to create "chill" spaces, small strings of lights (white or orange) for the canopies, waffle irons, pub style tables and chairs, and a couple pick up trucks to transport Foosball/air hockey tables. We also need 30 volunteers to put on a great and safe event. Parents/guardians of freshman and sophomore students please consider "paying it forward" and helping out. If your child is a junior or senior, we really need your help as well! One of our best-kept secrets is that this is really fun for the volunteers, too. Please contact Jennifer (

Congratulations to the OMMS Band and Wind Ensemble!
The OMMS Band was the only middle school band in the state to be invited to perform at Maryland Music Educators Association State Conferencem earlier this month.The Wind Ensemble also got a standing ovation!

Help enhance the academic and social development of identified Howard County elementary school students in schools near you through a consistent, supportive relationship with a child. Volunteers must be available weekday, daytime hours to meet one-on-one with an assigned student during the school day or with students in small groups in afterschool programs.
